Ignite Your Path to Recovery today!

At Spark To Recovery, we specialize in an array of alcohol and drug addiction programs in Los Angeles and the surrounding regions. Here are several ways we can help:

Medically Assisted Detox

Our medically assisted detox program prepares patients for recovery and helps them start the process with a clear and reinvigorated mind. The primary goal is to help patients start their recovery on the right track and protect them from potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms they may experience. At Spark To Recovery, our team gathers your vital information, assesses your medical history, and performs a comprehensive physical exam. This knowledge allows our medical detox specialists to develop treatment plans tailored to our patients’ unique needs. Physicians also remain on call 24/7 to monitor our patients’ health and adjust their treatment plans. In most cases, the duration of our medically assisted detox programs ranges from seven to 14 days.

Daily Program Schedule

The two main types of alcohol or drug addiction treatment are residential and outpatient. Regardless of the form of the treatment program, National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) advises that patients actively participate in treatment for a period of at least 90 days. Residential (inpatient) addiction treatment programs are designed to provide a structured, supportive, stable, and encouraging environment for patients to recover physically and mentally. Our daily program schedule includes group healing meetings so that you can ignite your path to recovery.

Residential Treatment

Also known as inpatient treatment, residential treatment allows patients to focus on getting well and staying sober without the distractions of everyday life. These programs usually run anywhere from 21 to 28 days. A typical day in a residential treatment program is structured and scheduled. Psychiatrists, counselors, and psychologists may meet with residents (patients) individually or in group settings to guide them through recovery. As mentioned, a detox program is required to first address a patient’s drug cravings and help them manage their withdrawal symptoms as the drugs exit their systems. Some patients require constant medical care and additional help to guard against relapse.

Continuum of Care

Patients typically move to less intensive levels of care as they leave their addiction treatment centers to continue recovery. It is important to work with a team who can adjust your treatment plan after you have left the facility. It would be a dangerous oversight to send a stroke patient home without cardiac rehab services or any additional care. Things can go wrong in many ways when it comes to substance abuse disorders, and they may lead to possibly deadly consequences. At Spark To Recovery, we provide continuum of care in day treatment, partial hospitalization, and inpatient treatment services through Concise Recovery or affiliate partial hospitalization treatment centers.

Sober Living

When patients recover in sober living homes, they are surrounded by people who support their recovery. On-site managers and tenants will be there to hold you accountable for your sobriety daily and assist should potential issues arise during recovery, e.g., when you are feeling down or experience sudden drug or alcohol cravings. Another benefit of sober living is that it helps restore independence, order, and structure in a resident’s life. In addition, patients can re-learn important life skills and start maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Also known as a dual diagnosis or dual disorder, a co-occurring disorder means that a patient is dealing with a substance use disorder and another mood-, anxiety-, or mental-related disorder. Below is a list of conditions that a patient with a co-occurring disorder may need to treat:

  • Schizophrenia
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Depression
  • Dysthymia
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder
  • Social anxiety
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Today, addiction problems and mental health disorders can no longer be treated separately. Patients stand a better chance of recovery through an integrated approach.
